Timeline - 10 hours
(Summer Wedding)
Please note the time of sunset on your wedding date as this might change the time for your ceremony. As a rule of thumb it's best to have 3 hours from the ceremony until the start of reception.
11am - Bridal Prep/ Partner One (1 hour for details) If getting ready within a 10min radius this can just be split into two parts with groom prep first then onto bridal prep. Alternatively Groom prep can be first.
12.15pm Groom Prep / Partner Two(1 Hour)
1.30pm Bridal Prep (Dresses on, first look with parents and or bridesmaids. Portraits etc) (1 Hour)
2.30pm Groom /Partner one greets guests. (I arrive for reception details and guests arriving)
3pm Ceremony (30min) If your ceremony is going to be longer please take this into consideration.
3.30pm Hugs & Drinks This can be nice time to do a champange tower cake cutting.
3.45pm Group shot & family photos (Usually 20-30min depending on number of groups)
4.15pm Mingle with guests (45min)
5pm Wedding Party Shoot This might need to be brought forward is you wish to travel to a location (1hour ish)
6pm Guests Enter Reception
6.15pm Wedding Party Enters Reception
8.30/9pm Sunset This can be before or after the first dance depending on the time of the year. (15min)
First Dance: 8.30/9pm
Followed by a few flash shots to commence the night.

Please note the time of sunset on your wedding date as this might change the time for your ceremony. As a rule of thumb it's best to have 2.5-3 hours from the ceremony until the start of reception. I always suggest a later ceremony time of 3.30-4pm
11am Groom Prep / Partner One (45min)
12.15pm Bridal Prep/ Partner Two (1 Hour)
1.15pm First Look/Wedding Party This is all dependent on locations and travel time. Ideally its great to have 1.5 hours of photography not including travel time to and from the ceremony site.
3pm Groom /Partner one greets guests. (I arrive for reception details and guests arriving)
3.30pm Ceremony (30min) If your ceremony is going to be longer please take this into consideration.
4pm Hugs & Drinks This can be nice time to do a Champagne tower or cake cutting.
4.15pm Group shot & family photos (Usually 20-30min depending on number of groups)
4.45pm Mingle with guests
6pm Couple Shots You may like to do another wee session during the time when the light is softer (15min)
6.15pm Guests Enter Reception
6.30pm Wedding Party Enters Reception
8.30/9pm Sunset This can be before or after the first dance depending on the time of the year. (15min)
First Dance: 8.30/9pm
Followed by a few flash shots to commence the night.

Six hours coverage usually only covers bridal prep until the start of reception. You can choose to go from ceremony but I would recommend doing a small amount of prep to ease you into it.
1.30pm - Bridal Prep/ Partner One (1 Hour) I arrive for a few details before getting dresses on and portraits.
2.30pm Groom /Partner one greets guests. (I arrive for reception details and guests arriving as well as shots of grooms party)
3pm Ceremony (30min) If your ceremony is going to be longer please take this into consideration.
3.30pm Hugs & Drinks This can be nice time to do a champange tower
3.45pm Group shot & family photos (Usually 20-30min depending on number of groups)
4.15pm Mingle with guests
5pm Wedding Party Shoot This might need to be brought forward is you wish to travel to a location
6pm Guests Enter Reception
6.15pm Wedding Party Enters Reception
This usually will cover the first round of speeches and cake cutting if you wish.
7.30pm I finish up.
